        Background Notes and Guidelines

SCRIPT SEASON: 

SPRING IN LOS ANGELES

College Law Students: Hipster, nerdy, East Coast preppy.

Women: Collared shirt, nice blouses, lightweight sweater, blazer, casual pants, nice jeans, flats, nice sneakers.

Men: Collared shirt, lightweight cardigan or sweater, blazer, polo, khakis, casual pants, nice jeans, khaki shorts, sneakers, loafers, Sperry topsiders, tie, bowtie.

GAU Lacrosse Players: Bring workout wear (shorts, muscle shirts, Dri-fit shirts, compression wear, lightweight hoodies, workout/gym sneakers, etc.). NO large logos or graphics, NO bright colors, solid red, black, or white

GAU College Students who become Coastal CA Students:  You will have two looks. Please see descriptions for "GAU College Students" and "Coastal CA College Students" and bring options for those looks.

GAU College Students,

GAU College Students with Backpacks & Bike:

Women: Springtime blouses, tees, crop tops, skirts, shorts (no short-shorts), jeans, high waisted pants, dresses, rompers, jumpers, lightweight jackets, lightweight sweaters/cardigan, flats, trendy sneakers, boots, booties, jewelry. Nothing overly revealing. NO solid red, white, or neon outerwear. NO turtlenecks or puffy/leather/heavy/long jackets.

                         

Men: Springtime trendy shirts, short-sleeve button-front shirts, hoodies/sweatshirt, lightweight sweater, lightweight jacket, shorts, nice jeans, joggers, colored chinos, nice clean sneakers, belts, hats/caps (NO logos) NO solid red, white, or neon outerwear. NO turtlenecks or puffy/leather/long/heavy jackets.

     

Coastal CA College Students: 

Women: Bring beachy look, lighter colors. Bring cute blouses, tees, crop tops, tank tops, shorts (no short-shorts), skirts, jeans, high waisted pants, dresses, rompers, jumpers, lightweight jackets or hoodies, sweaters/cardigan, flats, trendy sneakers, sandals, jewelry, sunhat. NO busy patterns, no solid black, red, white, or neon clothing. NO turtlenecks, flannel, heavy sweaters or puffy/wool/leather/heavy jackets.

                         

Men: Bring beachy/surfer/skater, lighter colors. Trendy shirts, short-sleeve button-front collared shirts, cardigans, blazers, lightweight jacket, lightweight hoodies, lightweight sweaters/cardigans, nice jeans, joggers, colored chinos, nice clean sneakers, sandals/flip-flops, jewelry, belts, hats/cap (NO LOGOS). NO busy patterns, black, red, white, or neon clothing. NO turtlenecks, flannel/plaid, heavy sweaters or puffy/wool/leather/heavy jackets.

       

GAU Students who become Coastal College Yoga Students:  You will have two looks: 

1) GAU Student (see above description) and 2) yoga student.

Bring yoga pants, shorts, tanks tops, t-shirts, jackets, lightweight zip-up hoodies, sneaker, sandals flip-flops. 

               

Professors: Please bring business casual options. 

Women- Slacks, blouse, dresses, dress/skirt/pant suits, low heels, comfortable shoes, accessories

Men- suit, button front shirt, sport coat, lightweight sweater, sweater vest, tie, slacks, dress shoes.
