KAPPA NEOPHYTES:

A Neophyte is a pledge or a probationary member of a frat or sorority. So, you haven't received the official frat jacket yet, but you want to try to dress in the frat colors to show your pledge status.  In this case, hoodies, sweatshirts and tees.  See the reference images below to give you an idea of uniformity we'd like to achieve with this look.  Kappa colors are black and silver so please bring any thing you have with these colors, mainly black.  You can wear jeans or anything of your choice on the bottom and of course any jewelry or accessories. Later in the day, you will be turning this into your frat party look so you can bring pieces to dress it up into a nighttime look.

STUDENT PARTY-GOERS/ FRATERNITY & SORITY MEMBERS

This is a lit frat party! The cast is somewhere between dressy and casual so you can be dressy or dressed-up casual. Some of you will be in your affiliated frat/ sorority jackets, and it would be a good idea to bring a top in the color of your frat/ sorority. You all did a great job dressing for the fashion show so more of the same please. Here are a few inspiration images to illustrate the look of a genuine HBCU frat party.
